Umile Lupinacci Obituary

Umile Lupinacci unexpectedly passed on Wednesday Sept. 17, 2008, in Cosenza, Italy.
Umile Lupinacci was born Oct. 12, 1921, in Acri (CS) Italy.
Mr. Lupinacci bravely served in the Italian Army and was a prisoner of war during World War II.
Umile enjoyed his days with his family around him. He especially loved to be around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all.
Umile was a resident of Westerly from 1974 until 1984 and was employed by American Velvet.
He was predeceased by his wife Annuziata Crocco, three of his sisters and his brother.
Mr. Lupinacci leaves behind his sister Maria Lupinacci of Argentina; his daughter Bombina Marchese and husband Decio of Westerly; his son Annuziato (Nino) Lupinacci and wife Assunta of Luzzi, Italy; his son Francesco Lupinacci and his wife Ida of Westerly; his daughter Adelina Main and her husband John of Pawcatuck; and his son Angelo Lupinacci and wife Mirella of Luzzi, Italy.
Umile was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A Mass in his memory will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Westerly on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at 7 p.m.
