I am so sorry for the lost of your dear loved one. It's comforting to know that God cares for all of us and losing a loved one is something we cannot get used to. The Bible gives us hope that one day we can see our dear loved one again. On behalf of all mankind Jesus surrender his soul for many. John 15:13 says “No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul on behalf of his friends.” Truly I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one and I hope these few words will bring you comfort and hope.

Bill, Rob, and Family:
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I just heard about Nancy’s passing and my heart aches. She truly was one of the most remarkable women I have met- she exuded class, dedication, and she touched my heart in SO many ways. She was an inspiration to me from the day I met her, and developed into my mentor who taught me life lessons (probably without even realizing it). I honestly don’t think I would be where I am today if it was not for her. She will be greatly missed, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. All my love XOXO

Bill and Family,

I worked with Nancy and Bill for a few years while working at Sawyer School in Pawtucket. I was so saddened to read of her death. She was the most devoted, caring teacher I have ever met, and I'm sure that was nothing in regards to her family. Please know others share in your loss.

Sincerely,
Wendy Burke

Rob, I am sorry for your loss. You know as well as I do that your mom dealt with a horrible disease and yet proved to Jesus that she is worthy to take a spot in heaven and there she will look down upon all her loved ones and wait for a family reunion... God bless and NEVER lose faith Love you, Joe

Although I haven't seen her in a number of years, I grew up with Nancy in Westerly's north end and went through elementary, jr. high and high school with her. She always had such a bubbly personality that it was a pleasure to be around her. My sincere condolences to her husband and children, to her dad, Jimmy, and sister, Kathy. She will be missed.

To the Degnan Family,
I know what a wonderful person Nancy was. My mom (Joyce) was always proud to be her friend. I know that she will be able to watch all of you from heaven. She will be watching her grandchildren grow. I know that this must be a difficult time, but Nancy is now free from the hold that was put on her life and she will continue to live in all the memories she created for so many people. I am thinking of all of you and remember to find strength in each other.

Nancy was the BEST mentor I could ever ask to have. My passion for education was inspired by her, my "other mom". I am the teacher I am today because of her. Their are really no words to describe just how amazing and special Nancy was. My heart and my prayers are with Bill and her family now...words cannot express my sympathy. I find comfort in knowing that Nancy is now at peace without suffering.

May Nancy finally rest in peace. She is truly an inspiration, who showed all of us what determination, willpower and love of life and family is all about. She is certainly a real life hero who will never be forgotten.
