Nicholas Ferando Obituary
Born in Westerly, he was a son of the Shirley (Cassidy) Ferando of Westerly, and the late Nicholas Ferando, Sr.
He had been employed as a material handler at Garrity Industries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the N.R.A. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving in addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters, Stacey Morgan of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Nikki Cahill of Ocala, Fla., and Brittany Ferando of Westerly; two brothers, John Ferando and Michael Ferando – both of Westerly; one grandchild, Caden Cahill of Ocala, Fla.; an aunt, Geraldine Ferando of Westerly; an uncle, Frank Ferendo of Westerly; and several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly, and will precede a funeral service in the funeral home, which will begin at 11a.m. Burial will be in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
