Edward Emanuel Victoria

Edward Emanuel Victoria, 80, of Diamond Hill Road, Ashaway, died on Tuesday evening, Oct. 7, 2008, at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Susan M. (Moffet) Victoria of Ashaway; four daughters, Deborah Dreher of Pawcatuck, Jacquelyn Victoria-Buroker of Trumbull, Conn., Alyce Shaw of Pawcatuck and Holly Caldwell of Acton, Mass.; his son, Robert Victoria of Clarence, N.Y.; his stepson, Michael Gannetta of Lisbon, Conn., and he was blessed with 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Fyfe of Westerly and Elizabeth Coogan of Voluntown, Conn.
Ed was predeceased by his only brother, Robert Victoria and his older sister, Alyce Quinn.
Edward was born in Stonington on July 8, 1928, the son of the late Manuel and Jennie (Dotolo) Victoria.
He was a 1947 graduate of Westerly High School who went on to serve his country in the United States Army in Europe and Korea during the Korean War.
When he returned, Ed became employed by Bostich and Davis Standard before becoming a logistics analyst for Electric Boat in Groton, retiring in 1992.
At Edward's request, there will be no calling hours, and burial will be private. Funeral services are under the direction of Rushlow-Iacoi Funeral Home, 64 Friendship St., Westerly.
