Mary L. (Armstrong) Aubin

Mary L. (Armstrong) Aubin, 51, of Pierce Road, Preston, Conn., died Friday morning at her home.
She was born April 10, 1957 in Willimantic, the daughter of the late George L. and Dorothy (Alvord) Armstrong Jr. In February of 1990, she was married to Robert Aubin in Old Mystic, Conn. He survives her.
Mrs. Aubin received her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Connecticut State College. She worked at the Veranda Café in Foxwoods Casino. She also lived in Tennessee for 11 years before moving back to the area.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her second mother, Alice Armstrong of Old Mystic; a son, Robert Aubin Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Plainfield; three brothers, George Armstrong III and his wife Paula of Westerly, R.I., Jack Armstrong and his wife Cindy of Sullivan, Maine, and Lee Armstrong and his wife Bonnie of Canterbury; two sisters, Lauren Barber of Higganum and Cindy Barber of Griswold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home, 490 Voluntown Road (Rt. 138), Jewett City. Interment will follow in Preston City Cemetery, Preston. Calling hours are Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Conn., 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.
