William Algiere Obituary

William Garry Algiere, 54, of 102 Huntington Court, Easley, S.C., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007.
Born in Westerly Mr. Algiere was the husband of Janet Marino and the son of William D. and Catherine Sacco Algiere.
He had been employed as a senior project manager with National Starch & Chemical Company for 32 years.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
In addition to his loving wife of 31 years, Mr. Algiere is survived by two children, William G. Algiere Jr., and Amanda R. Algiere; three sisters, Brenda Gama, Lisa Connelly, and Elaine Connelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, Greenville, S.C., with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Suite 101, Greenville, SC 29615 or American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
