Glenn Davis Obituary

Glenn L. Davis, 49, of Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
He was born in Kingston on July 10, 1955. He was a son of Beverly Picton Davis of Wilkes-Barre and the late Norman H. Davis. He attended GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an independent contractor who operated Ham-Rin Construction Co., Wilkes-Barre.
He is survived by his wife, the former Michelle Griffiths, at home; daughter, Courtney, Wilkes-Barre; son, Glenn Jr., at home; stepson, Mark Ankner, at home; grandchildren, Blake, Bailey and Zane; several stepchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Myron ``Cheryl' Mahalak, Shavertown; Mrs. Paul ``Rawlyn' Michaels, Wilkes-Barre; Ms. Lynette Hicks, Wilkes-Barre; brothers, Norman, Scott and Todd Davis, all of Wilkes-Barre; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with Mr. Jason S. Davis, Elder of the Dallas Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness' officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.
Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Glenns death what a shock I grew up with him and shot darts with him at McCarthy's Really sorry to read about his death I just seen it here on the web My deepest condelences to his family

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this time of sorrow. The void that Glenn will leave in everyone's life is unmatched. We will all share the pain for many, many years to come. His laughter and kindness was felt by everyone in his presence.
