Kimetha Stutzman Obituary

Kimetha Ann Stutzman, age 53, of New Philadelphia died early Saturday evening, April 11, 2009, in her home, with her family at her side.
Best known as Kim to her family and friends, she was born Aug. 2, 1955, at Dover, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Moravecky Kowals.
As a young lady, she attended school at Midvale, graduating from Indian Valley North in 1973. Following high school, Kim joined the former Woodard & Bohse LPA for a brief time before beginning her family life.
Kim's great joy was sharing and expressing her faith to others as a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at New Philadelphia.
On April 15, 1978, Kim married Alan Stutzman, whom she had long known from attending congregational meetings together. She devoted herself to making her house a home for her husband, her daughters and her extended family. Kim will be remembered as a selfless caregiver, and as an excellent homemaker.
Kim enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family, gardening and tending to the lovely flower beds around her family home. Many memories were made during annual family vacations to Myrtle Beach. Fishing and horseback riding were also pastimes.
In addition to her husband, Alan, with whom she would have observed 31 years of marriage this week, Kim is survived by two daughters, Ashley and Britney Stutzman, both of the home; a sister, Karen Kowals of Midvale, as well as her father- and mother-in-law, Eli and Sandra Cullen Stutzman of Dover.
A brother-in-law, Cary Stutzman of Dover, and a sister-in-law, Amy (husband Derrick) Zeger of Dover, also survive.
In addition to her parents Kim is preceded in death by an infant sister, Candace Kowals.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, April 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Mr. David Contillo will lead Kim's Memorial Service Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1212 Kelly Ave. NW, New Philadelphia.
Following the memorial service, a reception will be shared in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover at 5600 N. Wooster Ave. Cremation is planned, and private inurnment will follow alongside her parents in East Avenue Cemetery.

Though time and distance separates our families, your loss has touched us, as well. We want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
One of my favorite childhood memories is Kim, as a teenager, making clothes for my barbies.
What a wonderful day that we have to look forward to when we can welcome back our Michael, your Michael, Mary and dear Kim!

Our Deepest Sympathy to All in the Stutzman & Kowals Family. We share your sorrow and your grief. Ecclesiastes says "A name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one’s being born." She certainly made a good name for herself. Always thinking of others and doing things for them, even when she was not well herself. That and her love for Jehovah and his promises kept her going.
What an example for all of us.
She will always be in our memories, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, SHE IS IN JEHOVAH'S MEMORY.
We Love You All
