I just wanted to tell you how absolutely stunning Colin's Memorial Service was. Having only known him in the Camp Ta-Kum-Ta setting, it was wonderful to hear all the stories from all venues of his life, and to know that how Colin acted at Camp was exactly how he lived his entire life -- full of humor, kindness and a positive outlook on life. Having heard over the years about you and the care packages you would send him at Camp, I knew that you were a wonderful man and I am sorry that we had to finally meet under these circumstances.

I am so sorry to hear of Colins passing. He was such a special guy. Anyone that met him, no matter how short or long the encounter, came away a better person for having known him. I remember the last time I saw the both of you was at Ediths house. You always had so much fun together. May the love of your family and friends sustain you during this time as well as the many memories you created with each other. I am sorry I wasnt there for you. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Colin, however I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy to you. Colin was a wonderful support to my brother, Doug delisle when he was hospitalized at St. Peter's Hospital. His kindness during my brother's illness was so appreciated. I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that Colin will never be forgotten. He provided my brother's last hours with kindness and hope.

Dear Tom:
I wanted to write something special here that noone else wrote but it seems to have all been said. I know how much you miss him and what you are going through and I am sorry for that. Out of the bad, sometimes comes good, and I feel I am getting to know you better now. I wish Colin were here to see the wonderful outpouring of love and friendship that has been transpiring over these past few weeks. To Colin's loved ones,
I just heard of Colin's passing. It is so shocking and I am so sorry for your pain and loss. I knew Colin in the 1970's and 80's at Eden park in Albany when he worked in the Activities dept. He was always so fun loving. My most recent encounters with him were at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center where I used to work. He and I shared love and special stories about our dogs, our beloved Cocker Spainels time and time again. My former coworker, Kathy rosebrook told me about Colin's passing. She said there is a photo of him with one of my dogs wearing an elizabethan collar and Colin has a lamp shade on his head (of course we all know those e-collars look like lampshades). Leave it to Colin:) He will be sorely missed and always remembered.

Some of the best times I have ever had in the theater were on stage playing opposite Colin in Little Me. He was a funny, and smart actor. And a human being that I am proud to say that I knew. Tom, I was so sad and shocked to hear of Colin's passing. He was a joy to perform with, but what sticks with me most was his kindness and encouragement. In particular an email he sent me durring Into The Woods that put tears in my eyes. People who go out of their way to extend kindness impress me most, and I will always remember him for that.

I was part of the start up team of Eddy SeniorCare. I never actually worked with Colin but heard all of these wonderful things from my coworkers- he was the best, the most fun activities director, so creative. He was a friend of one of my coworkers, when we did a mock wedding Colin became the perfect bridegroom to Kristen - he always was able to add a laugh. My grandmother is a resident of OLOM - when I realized that Colin had the QM position there I never had a second thought as I knew that the clients were always his first priority. Such a loss of smiles, spirit, and belief in quality care for the elderly. May Tom, and his family know how very many people, outside of his theater world are so blessed by his smiles, and his caring ways.

wow...
i first met Colin when i did J.C. Superstar. i didn't know anyone and Colin instantly made me feel welcome. Then i got to work with him again in Falsettos. it was such a small cast so we were able to get to know each other so much better. From that moment on, i loved Colin deeply. His razor sharp wit made me his biggest fan.

I am proud to have been a coworker and friend of Colin's. We first met at Eden Park then at the Eddy and most recently at OLOM. Over the years I enjoyed attending his performances. I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. The joy and compassion he demonstrated for others was incredible. He had a unique way of sharing and comforting others. Tom -- I am proud to say I was a friend and coworker of Colin's on and off for many years now (beginning at Eden Park and later at the Eddy) and we've worked together at times since he's been at OLOM. I was truly shocked to hear of his passing. I had the privilege to see him perform in several plays over the years. He brought joy to all he did and it was truly contagious. Colin just made you laugh the moment you met him--The first time I met Colin was during SLOC's Sweeney Todd. Eventhough he wasnt in the cast(he was producer)he would try to make me laugh during a very intense scene during rehearsals. He'd get "mad" that I didnt flinch during the scene(but, gosh, inside, I was busting with laughter)--What a joy to watch on stage from "HOW TO.." to "Me and My Girl" to "Triumph of Love"...he was a natural at both the comedy & the drama...and I will miss the joy of seeing his stage work & his humor & his positive presence.

What can I say? I am really numb and very saddened to hear the news of Colin's passing.
Tom, I will never forget the opportunity and loving support that you and Colin gave to me before, during, and after SLOC's Sweeney Todd production. I will never forget the warmth and sheer joy of Colin's heart and soul during this time. It was truly amazing! That love and support meant a great deal to me especially when I was going through the toughest and most traumatic time of my entire life. You both always believed in my talents, and more importantly you believed in me as a person. That is something that is irreplaceable in my life. I first met Colin when I joined the cast, as Gatch, in "How To Succeed In Business...". Colin did succeed in this and many other fine performances, in many fine productions. I next worked with Colin, as Sir John in "Me & My Girl". Again, Colin shown as the bright star in the sky at SLOC. The last time I had the privilege of working with Colin, was in "The Cradle Will Rock" at SCP. I am one of many who had the great pleasure of sharing the stage with this fine actor, and above all, a fine person. He will be greatly missed by many, not only in the theatre community, but by all his friends and co-workers.

What can I say about Colin?
His fantastic acting was nothing compared to what a great person he was.
I was honored to have performed on stage with him, having him as my "nephew" in "The Sunshine Boys" at Schenectady Civic Players.
We knew each other for many years, but much to my sadness, not as well as perhaps I would have enjoyed.
Tom, my thoughts are with you as you go through these tough times.
I know that Colin was always thinking of OTHERS instead of himself. Just another great part of this great man.

Colin was one of those rare individuals who just couldn't be ignored. You simply couldn't be in the same room with him without smiling - and receiving a smile in return. He always had something warm and positive to say about everyone. He knew how to defuse any negative situation and was quick to step in to moderate between two sparking individuals.
On stage his talents and comic timing were genius.
Adults loved him; kids loved him. His smiling face will be forever in the memories of every life he touched.

I will always remember Colin's laugh and his wicked sense of humor. It was my delight to first meet him when he was onstage with my son Brendan in Tom's production of Zombie Prom. The stage chemistry he had with Gwen was simply delightful. We are blessed in a very wonderful way that our creative outlet of community theater allows so many other people-- friends, family, even complete strangers-- to have an everlasting and warm memory that far outlives our temporary time here. My condolences on the passing of Colin. I had the opportunity to deal with Colin when my father was at Our Lady of Mercy last year. He was a very friendly man, who took his job very seriously and the needs of the residents and their family there seriously. I think of the word integrity when I think of Colin. He had remarkable patience, when I really didn't. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and loved ones.
