Frances Damato Obituary

DAMATO A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of the life of Frances Cascone Damato, will be held 11:30 Saturday, April 30, 2005 from Christ the King Catholic Church, with Father Thanh Nguyen, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens. Mrs. Damato was born in New Orleans, LA and was a graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing. Upon graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during WWII in the Nurses Corps. She was a member for many years of Christ the King Catholic Church, and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She is survived by her husband of 58 years; John Damato, Jr. Two sons: Tony (Patti) Damato, and Tim (Angela) Damato. Two Daughters; Donna (Denis) Colin, and Debbie (Glenn) Blanchard. Two Brothers; Michael Cascone, Sr. (Dorothy), and John L. Cascone, Sr. (Marilyn) Fifteen grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at HARDAGE-GIDDENS Funeral Home, 6940 Atlantic Blvd., Friday evening fr om six until eight, with a Vigil Service in the Chapel at 7:00 PM.
