Been a long, long time buddy! Saw your smile in a dream the other night. Glad to know you are still near. Nick and I made it official in 2009 and I have his last name now. Although we wish you were there physically, I am sure you and Johnboy were making fun of our first dance. Thanksgiving is a few days away and I have to tell you I am breaking out the picture of you in the vest holding the corn, it makes us smile and we love remembering you and the laughter we all shared. It is also a time for us to count our blessings, and one of the biggest blessings for Nick and I is that we had a chance to get to know and love you. Thank you for that. Hope this messege finds its way to you, so that you know we are still thinking about you and missing you all the time. Fly easy dear friend!! Until we meet again.

Seven Hawks, I remember the story your mother told me of your naming, the story of the day you were born. I remember you running through our house with Jaime and Baba. I remember you laughing sooo hard you couldn't talk. I remember you stopping to help Nunny when all the other kids were too busy to pay attention. Seven Hawks, I remember you. You will always be in my heart and mind. And you will always have a piece of each of us, who loved and cared for you.

Hawkie!!! I will always remember looking into your room window talking to u from behind the fence.I will always remember the countless times chillen in your room listening to reggae and old school rap.I will always remember the great times we had as we grew up in L.P. We got older and many went there own ways, but there is no way ever the memories of all of us hanging out will end. We had our fights and became buddies right after(thats what friends do). im gonna miss you even tho i havent seen you in awhile.
Nunny and Ann, my heart is with you always. I will pray your spirits will be strenghthened in this time of mourning. I know Hawkie wouldnt want everyone to suffer the heartache of his loss. Hawkie was a brave soul we all know it. Nunny we have a good history between us also both good and bad. If u need a friend to talk to or just to remember times about Hawkie im still in L.P stop by any time you like

Seven Hawks,
Someone who wrote before me called you a "gentle warrior". To me that is amazing, that is what I have been saying all along. It shows that you showed your true self to everyone at all times, for so many love you and describe you in the same way. You taught me that true friendship should be comfortable, genuine and effortless, selfless with no strings attached. That is something I thought I would never encounter in my lifetime. I believe the universe has a greater purpose for you and that your life is not over. In a perfect world you would be here in flesh, but I know you are still here in spirit. So I will listen for you on the wind, and until we meet again, I will keep you in my heart my friend!
Forever and always,
jen

Dear Ann & Ganusquah
So sorry to read about what happened to Seven Hawks. My heart goes out to you both.
I have been digging through old pictures of Hawkie & Nunny when they were little squirts running with their pack of buddies - catching salamanders, building forts, spray painting my truck. You were all great kids. Please let me know where I can send you some photos.
I've been looking at Hawkie's little face & imagining the handsome, strong warrier he grew up to be, strong enough to defend his mother. I have always had a soft spot for his tenderness. Now I will always honor his courage.
I wish you strength in the coming days for all that you will have to deal with, and I wish you the kind hearted support of your friends & family when you need it.
Your old circle of friends out here send you their love. You will always be in my heart.

Ann, Nunny, You are in my prayers, my thoughts, and my heart. Ann, you have always been a wonderful mother to your boys. The love you 3 share will live on forever. Nothing can change that. Your warrior will be with you always. Nunny, all children should be as close as you and Hawky. You 2 had a bond like Jason & Eric and that can't be taken away from you. Ann and Nunnie,
My heart goes out to the both of you. I am in shock. Know you are all in my prayers. Please accept this eulogy for the family.
"Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die."
