Herbert Becker Obituary

Shirley Jean Becker Herbert 'Herb' R. Becker Together Again! Shirley passed away April 5, 2008, three precious days after her 75th birthday in Tucson, AZ. Preceded in death, her husband Herb. Survived by daughters, Peggy Brantley (George) of Aurora, CO, Paula 'Lala' Corriere (Charles 'Chuck') of Tucson, AZ; sister, Billye Glady, Orem, Utah; brothers, Lance and Richard Russell of TX; Three grandsons, Cameron Bruns of Boston, MA, Tyler Bruns and Jason Corriere of Denver, CO; three great- grandchildren, Jack, Risa, and Isabella, all of Denver; six nephews and three nieces. Shirley played a mean game at the bowling alley, and was even tougher at the card table. But she never cheated, that we know! She loved to sew, crochet hats and afghans for the cold and homeless, and keep her mind sharp playing computer games. She was an animal lover happy to have cats and dogs to cuddle. She also treasured all Mother Nature had to offer, even once being an avid hiker. Shirley went quietly at home surround by loving family. She's with God and not suffering anymore with a long illness. A remarkable woman, we will keep her warm in our hearts as she made us warm for so many years.

Matt & I so much enjoyed sharing our holiday dinners with Shirley. She was always the sparkle at the table! She will be missed as much as she was loved.

I always think of Shirley with her fingers flying, creating lots of beautiful and fun creations. I love the "fuzzy flip flops" the "girls" received in November. She always had a quick laugh and loved being part of our crazy lunches.

Much love, Sheila
