Dear Walter and Fran, was so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved son Wally.
Phillip Borgman my son told me of your loss and again we send our prayers and thoughts your way.
Would there be anyway for me to contact Eugene and Cyndy in chandler? Phillip will be in Tucson on April 24th and was trying to see if Gene and Cyndy would be around? We are having a gathering of friends out at 49ers and it would be fun to see them. Hopefully you will be checking your mail frequently.
Sincerely, Gail Borgam/Wierzba

Wally was one of those people, the type you don't get to meet very often. A very strong yet very gentle human. I always admired his heart and integrity and found myself laughing quite often in his presence.
I am truly honored to have known him, even it was for a few short years, he will be missed.
My thoughts go to the Kniaz family and to everyone else Wally may have touched.

Dear Kniaz family:
Please accept my deepest condolences. Wally and I attended Salpointe together and he was also one of my dearest friends. The last time I saw Wally we ran into each other accidentally at Eegees. At that time, it had been several years since I last talked to him but yet we sat there and had lunch together like no time had passed at all. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

Along with many others who have signed this Guest Book, I was a classmate of Wally at Salpointe. I'll always remember Wally as one of those people who everyone knew and everyone liked. He was a happy-go-lucky guy, always with a smile on his face. I can't imagine one negative word was ever said about Wally Kniaz. My deepest sympathies to your family.

I want to offer my deepest sympathy to Wally's family and friends. I had the pleasure of knowing Wally while married to a friend of his. We helped convince him to move to Idaho. I treasured Wally's friendship and will miss him greatly. I had not had the chance to see or talk to him for many years, but the memories I have of him will be with me forever. He was a great guy! I remarried last year and just lost my husband this past July. I know losing a loved one is very difficult and my heart goes out to Wally's family. My prayers are with you all.

Wadj, you're missed.
Your talent will keep us company for years on end. We will smile when we think of you and I know many of us will talk to you often. I can still hear your laugh which always took away any stress we were feeling. I wish we had more time to hang out but I guess you were needed elsewhere. To the Kniaz family, our thoughts and prayers are always with your hearts.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kniaz,
I had the great good fortune to have Wally in my 6th grade class at Tanque Verde School. He was endlessly good natured and fun to have in the class. Many years have gone by since then but I have never forgotten him. We all loved him. I was so sad to hear of his death.

Too many great memories to recount here or in a hundred pages. Wally was always a great friend. He'd protect you when you needed it and hug you even when you didn't. He was just a good guy (with bruised arms during football season). The last time I saw him, soon after the death of my brother, I was inconsolable and the memory is not much there besides that he was. My love goes out to those in the Kniaz family who are hurting more than can be known or remembered.

Wally was my board operator at KNST when I did a Saturday morning radio show called the legal hotline show. He was a very nice guy and I enjoyed the hour each we that we spent together. I hadn't heard from him in years and just a couple of weeks ago I got a message from Reunion. com saying Wally wanted to contact me. While I didn't know him well, I will always have warm memories of him. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Wally, I will miss you always and forever. I will never forget your excitement for radio and your drive for being number one.
I will mostly remember us, BOTH, flying blind and filling in for Mojo & Betsy. We were SO nervous. You were rockin the news chair and I kept messing up and not keying your mic?! We were able to laugh about it after it was over, but MAN! That was one rough morning. But, I MUST say we had more good mornings than bad mornings. We were a great team for that morning show. We worked great together.
I don't think I will ever be able to forgive myself for not keeping in touch with you.
I will always remember you fondly and will always wish I was a better friend.
I love you, Wally!
