Dan, Janelle & Jeff,
I did not know Mike - but I too lost a brother at a young age and know the depth of that type of loss. It is hard to try and figure out life and God's plan when one is so young and full of life and energy. Mike sounds like a wonderful young man from all of the messages left here, and your family sounds like a nice, heartfelt and caring family.
May God stay close to you at this time of sorrow, sadness and confusion.

LeAnna & Tim,
There are no words to express the sadness I feel for your loss. When my uncle passed away, my grandmother said the most painful/unexpected experience a parent can have is the death of their own child...
It's so difficult to understand why God allows these things to happen, and sometimes I think it's best that we can't.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family.
LeAnna, you have been such a wonderful friend/co-worker. You are a true blessing! I wish (as I'm sure you do) that I could turn back the hands of time, and change the event of Michael's Memorial Day weekend, but I can't. Such a helpless feeling I have.
I pray for Peace and comfort for you, Tim and the others who loved Michael. Peace On You...

To Mike's family. I worked with Mike at Par, it was always a joy to be around him. He was a very kind and fun person and always had a smile for everyone. Your son will truely be missed. I also live very close to your house and Mike and I had always talked about him stopping by for a bon fire. I will always regret not doing this. My prayers are with you. Mike's smile will remain in many hearts.

I'm, so so sorry. =[ If you need to be told anything, it's how sorely he'll be missed by all of us. Mike was one of those people that everyone loved, no one had a problem with. He was a listener and a friend. Famous among us. If you say the word "Crossfield" everyone will know EXACTLY who you are talking about. We all miss him so much, and he will ALWAYS be in our hearts.

I saw this is the paper today and was completely shocked. I'm not aware as to what happened, but I know that Mike will be greatly missed. My Son Nick was friends with your Son, along with many many others. I had the opportunity to meet Mike on a few occasions, and he was always very respectful, but what I remember most was his beautiful smile! He will be missed greatly by the enormous amount of friends that he had, as I know my son, along with many others are struggling deeply with this tragidy, and know things wil never be the same without him.
