Mrs Birdi of Brimington has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, on May 26, 2024, aged 73 years.
Born in India, Mrs Birdi has been a Brimington resident for 40 years, where she was a shopkeeper with her husband.
She enjoyed supporting the local community, donating to local schools and businesses.
Mrs Birdi sadly leaves behind her much loved family and community.
Her funeral service will take place at Chesterfield Crematorium on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 11.30am.

Lovely lady, my mum and our children( her grandchildren) used to visit the shop regularly, they always spoke fondly of Mrs Birdi...thank you for enriching our community, our genuine and deepest condolences to Mrs Birdi's family!

So sorry to hear this news, sending love to all your family.
I am now 33 and it was only the other day I was telling my children about you and your shop as a child and the memories I have as a child going to see you.
I used to go weekly with my nana Susan (Cupit who lived on Heywood street with my grandad Barry) and we'd come up to get all our movie night treats, still some of my fondest memories. Such a lovely warm welcoming lady
