Died peacefully at home in
Finningley on the 20th of August,
aged 78, surrounded by family.
Dearly loved husband of Lesley,
father to Rosemary, Susan
and Catherine and father-in-law to
Andrew, Thierry and Thomas.
A beloved grandfather to Samuel,
Emelia, Isabella, Isla, Lara, Cian,
Lucas and Conor. A much-loved
brother to Patricia, uncle and
great friend to many.
As vicar of St Peters Bentley from
1992-2001 and Archdeacon of
Doncaster from 2001-2011, along
with his active involvement in
many local charities, Bob will be
sadly missed by many.
The funeral will be held at
Doncaster Minster on Wednesday
the 4th of September at 12 noon.
The family request no flowers
please, donations if desired to be
made to Doncaster Minster.

My name was Janet Ricketts. I was Bobs dental nurse back in 1977.
When I was getting married in October 1981 Bob planned the whole ceremony and from then felt he had the call to be closer to God.
We were very close as colleagues and I was so young I feel I helped form my formative years.
I´ve searched for him over the years and now so sad to find he has passed away...only in this life as for sure we´ll meet again in the next.
