At home in Coldstream, on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Jake, aged 75. Much loved and sorely missed by his family, his friends and former band mates "Writing On The Wall". Funeral private, due to current restrictions. RIP.

Jake was a pleasure to know and to work with. We played music and always got on great, doing big shows and small shows together for over seven years and we had a lot of fun doing it. A band is your family and Jake and I, both having the same name (Scott) were like brothers. Lots of people thought we were brothers. On my 70th birthday, last year, it was the first time that 'Writing on the Wall' had been together in the same room for forty years. It was so good that Jake came along. We had a terrific time, as we always did. Jake always kept in touch, sometimes calling me at 3 or 4 in the morning (Australian time) for a chat. Last time he called he said that he had a brilliant idea, he was thinking we should write 'Power of the Picts' The Musical.
Sadly it will not happen now.
RIP Jake you will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
