MUIR Prof. Walter (Peebles) Suddenly, on September 1, 2009, Walter Muir (Professor at Edinburgh University), loving father of Catherine and Alisdair. Service in Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel, on Thursday, September 10, at 11 am, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only, but donations and retiring collection at crematorium to Autism Speaks, North Lea House, 66 Northfield End, Henley-on-Thames, Oxton, RG9 2BE and Down's Syndrome Scotland, 158-160 Balgreen Road, Edinburgh, EH11 3AU.

Rest in peace
Rest in Peace- I have only just heard the news. A brilliant and caring Psychiatrist and Scientist who will be greatly missed by his close colleagues and patients and their families. May his family find some comfort in knowing how much he contributed to research and to the lives of those affected by serious mental illness and learning disability.
