Peacefully, at Galloway Community Hospital, Stranraer, on
Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Elma Turnbull Young (née Heron) , aged 92
years, of Agnew Crescent, Stranraer and formerly Blackhall, Edinburgh.
Beloved wife of Alexander Meikle Young, dearly loved mother of Catherine, Robert and Shirley and mother-in-law of Roderick, dear daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Heron and sister of the late Dorothy, much loved grandmother of all the family. Funeral on Thursday, October 24, 2024, service in Stranraer Parish Church, at 12.30 pm, thereafter to Masonhill Crematorium by Ayr, at 2.45 pm, all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired in aid of Galloway Community Hospital on retiral from church.
