Phoenix - Genevieve Cañez-Aguilar, 51, of Phoenix Arizona passed away on March 19, 2021. Genevieve is preceded in death by her mother Elida R. Ohton. She is survived by her 7 children: Genevieve Cañez, Ashley Aguilar, Anmarie Aguilar, Destany Effing, Elisa Cornejo, Anthony Cornejo and Elaine Cañez; and 8 grandchildren. Genevieve is also survived by her Father Frank L. Cañez, brother Frank Cañez, sisters Elaine C. Ruiz and Yvette Rosales. Genevieve will be missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1:00P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix.
