I am shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of an amazing woman. I had Mrs. Raczka as a teacher for Biology and Health when I was in high school. She was more than just a teacher to me. She guided me and influenced who I became as an adult. It is because of her that I became a teacher.
When I was working on my master's degree less than a year ago, I was asked to reflect on a teacher who I had had who influenced me in either a positive or negative way. I chose to write about Mrs. Raczka. I wrote about the time she gave me my first ever D on an assignment. I reflected on that fact that it was the first time a teacher had ever pushed me to excel and to expect more of myself. I never got another grade like that from her.
Mrs. Raczka is the reason that I became a teacher and I feel blessed to have had her as a role model in my life. She will be missed.
I am so terribly sorry for the loss of this amazing woman.

Meredith and family,
I am terribly sorry for the loss of a truly extraordinary woman. While most teachers are people of passion and commitment by nature, Mrs Raczka truly embodied the spirit of living for others. Not only was she instrumental in the success of my college applications, but took the time long before to get to know me and where I would thrive as a student. She was a truly a loving, caring person whom I always enjoyed running into, if for no reason more than the sight of her loving smile. Like many others, I celebrate today all that warmth that Mrs Raczka brought in my life, and all the lives touched by her kind spirit, in which she will forever live on through. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

I knew Cindy for the last eighteen years through a work connection, but it wasn't long before we became fast friends. She was such a loving, caring woman with a big heart and a great sense of humor to match. I know that she has a special place in heaven, but I will miss her here on earth. God Bless you, Cindy, and thank you for coming into my life.

To Cindy's family: My memories of Cindy from our four years together at STA are of a girl who was cheery, hard-working, and involved in all kinds of activities; we both grew up to be teachers and I'm sure she touched many lives at Trinity HS. You are all in my prayers.

I have known Cindy Raczka ( aka: Miss C.)for many years. After graduating from Trinity High School in 1985 I had the opportunity to speak with Cindy on many occasions. Most recently, Cindy assisted my daughter with the submission of scholarship applications even though my daughter did not attend Trinity. Cindy was always there to help. As a Trinity Alum and a friend of Cindy I am deeply saddened by the loss of such an angel.
