Jess, I am so sorry for the loss of James. He was a great husband to you and an outstanding father! He had such a good sense of humor and always knew how to get people to laugh with his funny comments and anecdotes. Although you will not see his face, he left you 4 of the most precious gifts life has to offer (Colin, Benjamin, Ryan, and Madelyn). They will forever remind you of James in their own unique and very special ways. There are no words to make it better for you, the kids, or your folks, but know that James is with your Memere watching over all of you. I pray to God that he grant you the strength needed to get through it minute by minute right now and day by day in the future. Ryan and I love your family very much and will ALWAYS be here for you!! ALWAYS! Much love, hugs, and kisses

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jame's family. I met James through buying a Monarchs Jersey that he was selling on Craig's list a couple of years ago. When I met him to make the exchange, I was taken back by what a nice guy he was. We started talking and I convinced him to bring his boys to a cub scout pack meeting at my sons pack. I got to know him through our cub scout involvement. It was a pleasure to run into him at scouting events. I knew him as a great guy and a dedicated father and family man. I know that he will be greatly missed by all of the people who have had the pleasure of knowing him. I will always think of him when I wear my Jersey.

I have the cutest memory that I have of Jim, My daughter had a donut in a bag and Jim asked her for a bite and she said that he could not, so he asked if he could take a picture of it with his cell phone. He said that if he got hungry he would be able to at least look at it. Months later we saw him again at another hockey rink and he remembered about the donut but he no longer had the picture. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Jim will always be your guardian angel now. The Gunski Family
