Fermin Castillo Jr 89 was born in Cuba, NM on February 25th, 1933.

He was a life-long resident of Bernalillo, NM. Fermin was called home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family on August 22, 2022. Fermin was preceded in death by his parents; Fermin and Margarita Castillo, his beloved wife of 65 years Eleonor Castillo, daughter Bernice Castillo, stepson Lalo Trujillo, along with 2 sisters and 6 brothers. He is survived by his 2 daughters JoAnne and Freddie Jaramillo, Margaret and Tom Lucero, stepdaughters Leah and Joe Trujillo, Alice and Ben CdeBaca, Annie and Nick Lucero, 2 stepsons Albert Trujillo and Eusebio Trujillo. He also leaves behind many grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandkids a total of 143. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Dad/Grandpa will be remembered as a man with a big heart. He was kind and had a smile to brighten anyone's day. He was a man that loved his family dearly. He enjoyed time with friends and loved to watch football and boxing. As a young girl I ate at your table and slept in your home, you were always so gracious and nice.
I remember watching baseball and the "fights" with you on tv and how rowdy you would get lol
