Gayle Elledge Obituary
Gayle L. Elledge, born April 7, 1950 in Pueblo, CO,
was released
from her earthly home to her heavenly home on March 27, 2023 after a courageous 8 month battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones as she passed into eternity.
She is survived by her husband, David Elledge, daughters Heather Zimny (Brian) of Tigard OR and Alicia Hidalgo (Stuart) of Oro Valley, AZ, grandchildren Benjamin Hidalgo (Christine), Rileigh Hidalgo (Oliver), Hayley Zimny, and Kyle Zimny, brothers Mark Dyke and Arthur Kim Dyke and her nephew and nieces.
She retired from Sandia Labs Federal Credit Union in 2017. After her retirement she jumped more fully into Bible Study and volunteerism. She was a devoted group leader at Bible Study Fellowship and volunteered at Genesis Care Facility. When she started chemotherapy she was saddened that she had to give up her time cultivating relationships at the care facility and leading bible study. Other than in Christ, she found no greater joy than in her family who she never let an opportunity pass to let them know how much they were loved.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Grace Church 6901 San Antonio Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. In lieu of flowers, Gayle being the servant that she was, has requested donations to be made to Bible Study Fellowship.

My heart goes out to Gayle's family. I am so sorry for your loss. My memory of Gayle was enjoying our conversations about Blues music and her traveling on 'Blues Cruises'. She shared with me the many musicians she listened to.
