Jasmin O'Neill

1986 - 2018

Long time Anchorage, Alaska, resident Jasmin Pom O'Neill, 31, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018, in a tragic vehicle accident.
A burial will take place at Angelus Memorial Park at a later date. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Jasmin was born on June 1, 1986, in Havre, Mont., to Winona and Michael O'Neill. She attended school in Anchorage and went on to study at the University of Alaska Anchorage and the University of Alaska Fairbanks and was still working on her degree.
Jasmin was well known for her exemplary work ethic and dedication. She worked at GCI for the last six years, serving Alaskans in Anchorage and Fairbanks. She traveled between Anchorage and Delta Junction to raise her beloved daughter, Amelia, whom she loved with all her heart and soul.
Jasmin was full of energy and valued living an active lifestyle, always getting outside whenever possible to ride her bike and go hiking, rafting, camping and swimming. She also loved to travel, read books and spend time with family and loved ones, entertaining us all with her humor and wit.
Her family wrote: "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. - Abraham Lincoln"
Jasmin was born a charismatic, energetic and determined spirit who touched our lives with her kindness, generosity and, above all, her humor and love of laughter. She lived life to the fullest and was fearless and fierce all at the same time. She is deeply loved and missed by her family and loved ones. We have been blessed by the grace of God for the gift of life she bestowed upon us during her short time with us and her death will not be in vain. She is teaching us lessons even after death. She is now guiding us with her spirit, showing us how to recover as a family with love, compassion and unity.
Thank you, sweet Jasmin, for the life you lived and the love that continues to grow. Until we meet again. Rest in peace, angel baby.
