Her family wrote, "Our mother was the bond between our families. She made sure that we stayed connected with our family and our extended family. She guided our spiritual and emotional needs. She saw to it that we attended church on Sundays and we kept our faith. Our mother was there for us when we needed a shoulder to cry on or to be listened to; and more importantly, made sure that we had a place to always call home and that was to be near her. We will miss our guiding angel."

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to American Cancer Society of Anchorage.

To the family: Saying good-bye must be the hardest thing in the world for you, and words seem like such little things compared to what all of you are going through. With deepest sympathy.
