I am so sorry to hear of Bob's untimely passing. As a classmate of his brother John I have great childhood memories of all of the Fisks and growing up in St. Croix Beach, MN. My thoughts are with you all.

Rest in peace Bob! I have many fun memories growing up with you and the others. Loved riding around in your trucks. Keeling over with delight when you got a truck, and couldn't figure out why the letters on the grill weren't lined up the same as the letters on the tailgate. One read: DODGE. the other read: DOGED

You are greatly missed.

For many years had the pleasure of knowing Bob as a hard-working, dedicated, and great colleague. His work made my career and a lot others' professional lives a lot easier. But most importantly he was a great friend too. He is already missed. My sincerest condolences to Martha and all.

I worked for Bob when I first came on with the BlM in 1996. I enjoyed his sense of humor and extensive knowledge of Alaskan geology and mining.
