Jeanette Miller Obituary

Jeanette B. Miller, 86, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her residence. A visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at Mathews Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Roy Cook will officiate.

Mrs. Miller was born on July 30, 1935 in Miller County, GA to Edger and Essie Bryan. She grew up in Colquitt and graduated from Miller County High School in 1953. Mrs. Miller moved to Albany, GA in 1961 and was employed as a bookkeeper with the Carlton Caterpillar Company. She spent most of her career with Beck Motor Company before retiring in 1993.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church. She and her husband, Al, were members of Good Sam and loved to travel in their RV. She enjoyed camping, fishing, reading and playing games with her friends.

Survivors include her husband, Al Miller of Albany, GA, her children, Belinda (Ronnie) Garrett of Lee County, GA, Alesia (Jeff) Shiver of Fernandina Beach, FL and Eric (Lynn) Miller of Albany, GA, five grandchildren, Amanda Sanders of Lee County, GA, Heather Lunt and Jennifer Harwell both of Fernandina Beach, FL, Morgan Miller of Buford, GA and Madison (Read) Walters of Charleston, SC, six grandchildren, Avaree, Hunter, Jace, Kaelyn, Easton and Colton, and special friends, Margaret Bob, Leslie Sellers, Lisa Green, and Natalie Clark.

Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Mrs. Miller to the Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA, 31707.
