While we were not privileged to know Marilyn and her husband Mike well, we did enjoy the pleasure of their company socially in Lake Charles, and on a wonderful Winter-time, snow-bound trip to Colorado. Marilyn was as out-going, vivacious, and friendly as one could ever hope. We will miss her company.

Bill and I offer our sincere sympathy to Mike and the entire family. God tells us in Ecclesiastes 3 that "there is a time and a season for every purpose unto heaven. A time to be born and a time to die; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance." You must celebrate Marilyn's life as one lived to the fullest and thank God for lending her to you to cherish while on this earth. Remember all the great family times and know that she is now rejoicing with God in heaven

Our paths crossed many times....church, art and our gym. Everywhere Marilyn was such a sweet caring person. I really enjoyed her viewpoint in Bible Study Class. Marilyn will be missed in so many places. Prayers of comfort for all who was fortunate to know this sweet lady!

Marilyn was a sweetheart, always so kind, giving and faithful. She always said the best prayers in any situation.
She was the strongest lady I ever met and I will miss her. I'm thankful for the times and laughter we got to share.

Marilyn was such a loyal Christian, and she had a strong spirit. Although many times she felt ill, she was not one to complain. Marilyn was one who fought the good fight. It was my pleasure to run into Marilyn on shopping trips because shopping was something she truly enjoyed. She would smile and greet me, and then she would be excited to show me the bargains she had found. Like many of us, it seemed she enjoyed the hunt as much as the find. Hunter and I will truly miss Marilyn, and she would say to Hunter, "Now you have to ask Kay herself has she is doing!" That was their running inside joke. Janell Perrin

Marilyn was a special friend- spirit filled, loving, courageous. Her battle with cancer was a long one but she never lost her faith & she always was a devoted friend. I learned so much from her! I miss her every day.
