Dan Brown

A funeral service for Dan Brown, 84, will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at K. L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Richard O'Connor and David Rozelle officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Talladega. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Brown died Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Anniston. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Snyder Brown, of Anniston; a son, Glen C. Brown and his wife Janet, of Delta; a daughter, Danette Wood Brown, of Anniston; four grandchildren, Daniel (Hailey) Brown, of Barfield, Adam, Jacob and Sara Brown, all of Delta; three sisters, Burma Bible and Martha (Fred) Denney, both, of Oxford and Inez (Jeral) Clark, of Lineville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Daniel, Adam and Jacob Brown and nephews, Jim Denney, Gary and Bobby Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ward and Elders and Deacons of Betta View Church of Christ. A member of Betta View Hills Church of Christ. Mr. Brown was a Clay County native, a resident of Talladega for 19 years and a resident of Anniston for the past 43 years. He retired from Coca Cola with 42 years service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bernice Brown; three brothers, Cois, Lamar and Horace Brown; two sisters, Virginia Barker and Ruth Huston and his son in law, Ronald Wood.
