Albert Rimmer Obituary
Tinton Falls - Albert Joel Rimmer passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2017 after a long illness. He was 87.
He was born in The Bronx, NY, January 26, 1930. As a young man, he attended DeWitt Clinton High School. He served in the Army during the Korean War (1952-53). He received a BS from Rider College, and a Masters and Ph.D. from California Western University. He spent a 40 year career in the computer industry as a programmer, analyst, and technical writer.
For most of his life, he lived in Freehold. He played senior softball for 20 years and was an avid sports memorabilia collector.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jeanne, his daughters Rachel Burlew and Terri Rimmer, his grandson Bradley Williamson and fiance Roxanne Roik, and a brother. He will be interred at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
