Barry Van De Moere

Barry Van De Moere died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. He was 71. Born in Paterson, he resided in Monroe Township before moving to Spotswood in 1970. Mr. Van De Moere was a Computer programmer for IBM in Dayton, where he worked for 31 years. He was a long time member of the Keyport Yacht Club, where he served as past Treasurer and a member of the Board of Governors.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary Ellen (Goodwin) Van De Moere; two sons, Barry and his wife, Kay, of Thornton, NH, and Gregory and his wife, Karen, of Flemington; two daughters, Rebecca Gaver and her husband, Christopher, of Little Silver and Ann Marie Blanchard and her husband, Brian, of Campton, NH; a brother, Alan and his wife, Alice, of Rochester, NY; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Cremation was private, under the direction of The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Friends may attend a memorial visitation on Friday from 9:00-9:45 AM at The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:15 AM at The Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood.
