Bernice "Sissy" Long

AGE: 60 • Lakewood

Bernice died on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Brick Hospital. She was born in Munich, Germany on September 15,1956.

Bernice is survived by her mother, Gertrude Long; her daughter, Anna and her husband Chris Irons and their children, Justin and Sara Gourlay, Hannah, Joshua, Jade and John Irons; her son, Andrew Sabatini and his children Leigha and Andrew; her siblings Fern Frank, Bernard Long, and Christina Ford. She was known as "Mimi" to her nieces and nephews, Dawn, Michael, Joe, Brian and Melissa, and many great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Roger E Long in 1971.

Bernice was known as the person who would give you her shirt off her back. Her family was everything to her. She will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her.

All funeral arrangements were handled by the DiCostanzo family owned, Lakewood Funeral Home, Howell. Bernice was cremated and services are private as per her wishes. There will be a small gathering of family and close friends.
