I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. DeGrande's passing. I was a student at MCVSD Hazlet for Cosmetology from 2005-2007 and when our home high school would drop us off at Hazlet Voc, he was always there to greet us. He was such a nice guy and would always hang out and talk with us in the hallway until school started. I wish his family well and many condolences from my family and I.

I worked with Larry at Monmouth County Vocational School when we were both in the Freehold building. The students enjoyed Larry and he always made the staff laugh. Larry was an amazing carpenter and even built my deck many years ago. My condolences to Sandy and the family.

I taught with Larry at Southard School for many years. He had a wild sense of humor and was always joking. If you needed a pick - me- up, you need only walk into the art room to visit with Larry. I send my deepest condolences to Sandy and his entire family.
