Leonard Parrino Obituary
AGE: 68 • Waretown
Leonard R. Parrino, 68, of Waretown, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Reno, NV, he lived most of his life in Newark and Toms River before moving to Waretown in 1977. He was employed as a Toll Collector for the N.J. Turnpike Authority and a member of Local #196 before his retirement. He was owner/operator of various barber shops in Ocean County and was owner/operator of L&L Antiques in both Forked River and Waretown. He was also a member of the Blacksheep Motor Club in Cape May County. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sebastian and Frances Parrino. Surviving is his loving wife, Lorraine; his son, Jimmy R. Parrino and his wife Aly of Lacey Township; and his grandson, Rocco James Parrino. Also surviving are his two daughters, Lenora Caris and Michelle Spellman.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 13 and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at "The Family Owned" Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River. Condolences can be sent to carmonabolenfh.com.

We were all shocked to hear that we lost a great friend , and a great man , i had the pleasure of cutting Lenny's beautiful hair for many years , and i totally enjoyed his visits , and i know a big part of his wonderful family too , they all felt like part of my family : ) we havnt seen you all since we moved to florida, but you are all still in our hearts , lenny was a one of a kind man with a heart of gold , may god bless you all , love from sue - -SUESMAGIC

Sometimes life seems so unfair and we wish we could hit a button and have all the answers. Take comfort in knowing that Uncle Lenny was a man with a big heart that touched many lives; for that we will celebrate his life and cherish the memories we've made. He was a kind man and he will surely be missed by all. RIP Uncle Lenny.
