Ralph Kienz Obituary
Whiting - Ralph Charles Kienz entered his heavenly home on April 12, 2018 at age 99. Born September 7, 1918 to Charles and Louise (Meyer) Kienz in West New York, NJ he lived in North Bergen until moving to Whiting in 1980.
Ralph graduated from Weehawken High School and served in the army's Communications Corps in WWII in the European theater from D-day plus six through V-E day, just behind the front lines for the duration. He was employed by Curtiss-Wright and General Electric. A long-suffering NY Rangers fan, Ralph loved to travel, dance and spend time with his many cousins and friends. He was an active member at Woodcliff Reformed Church, North Bergen and Community Reformed Church, Whiting. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Virginia (nee Eberhardt). Ralph is survived by his loving family and his dear friend, Joyce Bell.
A military funeral will take place Friday, April 20, 2018, 1:00 pm at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at Community Reformed Church, Whiting.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request considering a donation to the Holisticare Hospice of NJ, 1144 Hooper Ave. Ste. 208, Toms River, NJ 08753.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home of Whiting, NJ
