She was a wonderful cook and always had room at her table. As a single parent, she raised three children to be caring and compassionate. Ruth had many friends and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. She loved birds and always enjoyed watching them come to her many feeders in her backyard, as well as her excitement at the arrival of the first robins in spring. She enjoyed going to the shore to watch the Thursday night fireworks on a weekly basis and visiting with friends there. In her younger years, Ruth delighted in her many flower gardens and could name each of the Iris by its name. She became grandmother to many pets throughout her lifetime. Ruth loved all of us deeply and in turn we loved her deeply and will miss her greatly.
