There isn't a day that goes by that a thought of you doesn't pop into my head. I have so many great memories with you Sharon. We all miss and Love you very much. Our trips to Quebec City, Bar Harbor & Camden, ME along with many, many other places we visited will always be dear to my heart. Wow! we did and went to a lot of places together. We had so much fun. You will always be my favorite Aunt! I can't wait to share those memorable places with my son Hunter. He will love Quebec City. We Love and miss you so much. Give Grandpa and Grandma a big hug for us. Love Always, your favorite Nephew.

I didnt know her that well but I never knew anyone who didnt like her or had a bad thing to say about her. I think that anyone who did know her were blessed to have had her in their lives.

SHARON was a wonderful person and a good friend of mine. I MISS HER EVER DAY

October 2, 2009
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Sharon's loved ones. I just heard the news today and am both shocked and saddened that I did not get to say goodbye. Sharon was a friend of mine from back at Merrill Lynch. It was our first job after college. Our group from those days formed lifelong friendships. Sharon, of course, was the glue that held us all together. She had already planned our annual Christmas get together for Dec. In typical Sharon style, she would always order dessert first and say life was too short not to. How ironic.

Sharon will be missed dearly by her family, especially by her sister Laura. Sharon touched so many people in many different ways. Of the many people I talked to at Sharon's services and the people that have signed her guest book here. The one thing they all seem to have in common was that they we're grateful to have had Sharon in their life, even if it were for a short period of time. Just remember the next time you see a pug that Sharon will be watching you. Or the next time you buy something at the bakery or have dessert after dinner she'll be right by your side as you bite into that sweet sugary treat. Sharon was a one of a kind person and I will cherish the past 37 years of my life I had with her. Even though she didn't like us calling her “Aunt” Sharon, she will always be our favorite Aunt. We all love and miss you Sharon.

Drew (and family),
From these entries, it seems that those who have never met your beautiful wife, like myself, really missed out on meeting an extraordinary woman. My heart is broken for you. You are in my prayers and every morning I will pray for God to give you strength and peace. I hope there is some kind of comfort in knowing that she will forever be your angel. May she rest in peace. Please stay strong, Drew and lean on your friends and family.

Words can't express my feelings of sadness for Drew and her family and friends or anyone that ever met Sharon. She was truley an angel among us. She will be missed every day. Her kindness and love for people and her pugs was bigger than the world. But it didn't stop there she loved all living things all animals and flowers. We can't forget her love for beach and sweet desserts. You memory will live on forever Sharon. You were the BEST!

Sharon was a great person to know and love during our years at Middletown HS North.. She had such a great personality and wit about her.. I remember 12th grade science class with Sharon, Kathy Duffy and the rest of the gang.. I also remember how she was voted "Best Dressed" for our class!! You will always be one classy lady in my book..

Sharon's amazing personality and warm laugh will be sorely missed at our post-Rutgers college get-togethers. I owe her thanks for sharing her favorite 'foodie' eating places with me. I am sorry I was out of state during this tragedy. I still cannot quite absorb it. My deepest sympathy to family and friends. I am sure Sharon's goodness will last long beyond this tragic event.

Drew, I feel so sorry about this tragedy. I've known Sharon for many years and she always had a smile and a kind word regardless of the day, the weather, the news, whatever. She was kind hearted and fun, and I will miss her visits to my office. But I will always remember her because she was very special. The world is a little dimmer right now, but we shall always feel her warmth and concern when we think of her. My condolences to my friend and to her family, Dr. Michael A. Carey, Old Bridge, NJ

I dealt w/ Sharon on a regular basis at Barclays and she had a distinct memorable presence over the phone. She was probably the kindest person I've dealt with in business. If sunshine could come through the phone, a person would get a sunburn from her. I am shocked and saddened to know her life ended so soon, but am personally inspired to leave such a postive impression on people by her example. Her positive attitude was as though each day could have been her last. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

Sharon was one of those people who you knew just had a genuinely good heart. Her smile lighted up the room the moment she walked in. Although I did not know her well, I knew this was one of God's angels. I especially get a kick out of her sweaters she would knit for her dogs. I am heartbroken to hear of this tragic news, but have all the faith that she is up in heaven looking down at us. Ms. Playter, as I used to call her. You are a shining light in a dark world. Thank you for showing me that there are still good people in this world.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Sharon's family and friends. Sharon and I were high school friends and I think of her often as she still lived up the street from my mom. She was just on my mind as someone had posted a pic of her from prom on Facebook. She was such a wonderful friend, so caring and thoughtful, with impeccable fashion sense!!! She will be greatly missed.

Drew:
I am so sorry to hear about Sharon, I am in complete shock. You guys were so kind to me when I moved into the Dunes. She was such a wonderful person, always ready to help, even lending me her car when mine would break down so I could get to work. What a loss to you and your family. My heart is broken.

Mrs. Playter, Drew and family, I'm very sorry for the loss of your dear girl. Sharon dated my brother John in high school, and I delivered your mail many years ago on Hopping Rd when I still lived in NJ. Sharon was a beautiful, funny, smart girl whom I remember fondly growing up. She was a class act as far back as I can remember even as a young teen. Again I am so sorry for your loss.

Sharon spent many winter nights with our small knitting group about five years ago and everyone loved her. She was so generous with her yarn and many knitting books.
I loved to hear her stories about her pugs. I lost my best friend soon after and she was the first one to call and comfort me. I'll never forget that.
I ran into her at PetSmart pushing two carts holding her precious pugs. It was lovely to see the devotion and love she had for her special pets.
Although I hadn't seen her in a while I will miss her wonderful personality and her genuine interest in the people that she encountered.
My deepest sympathy to her family. She was a very special person.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Hold tight to the babies she treasured so dearly and they will help guide you through. Feel the strength and love from friends and family as we send healing thoughts your way. Please lean on others to help you through and know you are not alone in your hardship. Drew and family, my heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Sadly, I had recently tried to find Sharon on Facebook, but never could. We worked together at Merrill Lynch ten years ago, and although time has passed, I have never forgotten the amazing person and friend that she was to me. I still get a chuckle remembering how she would wear a little pink house slipper on her foot when she drove to and from work so as to not scratch up her heels! Her smile, kindness and love for life will never be forgotten.

I have had the pleasure of working with Sharon for the last five years. We were instant friends and "spiritual sisters". Sharon was a shining star in so many ways. She was loyal, generous and always had a loving heart. Sharon had a gift of always bringing out the sunny day when you were feeling down. I am so blessed to have had Sharon in my life. She is surely an angel in heaven watching over all of us. God bless you my darling Sharon, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

My deepest sympathy's go out to the Playter/Roberts family. Please know that Sharon will be greatly missed by the Wilson Ave. bus commuters. I worked with Sharon at Barclays. She was always cheery and always helpful. Her smile and attitude would immediately put me in a better mood. She never said a bad thing about anyone. Never placed blame on anyone or complained. She had a job that was just as stressful as all of ours but she never showed it. She had a great passion for Maine which I shared. It was great hearing about her dogs and how much she loved them. God must have needed her for something important. We will miss her terribly. God Bless her family who I have never met. You should know that her collegues loved her very much. She was a special person.
