Ben Castanon Obituary
Ben S. Castanon -a.k.a Benji, passed away on July 17, 2017, peacefully in his sleep. Ben was born and raised here in Colusa.
He is survived by his wife Ana Maria, daughter Evalia, sons Paul, George and Chris, as well as his older brother Martin and many nieces and nephews.
Benji was blessed with 5 grandchildren Kiara, Martin Jr., Kobe, Cielo and Kaleb.
Benji was well known in the Colusa Community and County. Ben worked for many years as a foreman for Terhal Farms and River Vista Farms. Ben was a dedicated loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all.
Ben was a kind, hard working honest man, deeply loved by many. He was funny, kind and always had a positive outlook. Ben loved watching old western movies, and the 49ers.
He will always be in our hearts and will forever be loved and missed by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Visitations will be from 5-8pm, Friday, July 28, 2017, with a Rosary service to be held at 7pm at McNary-Moore Chapel, 107 5th Street, Colusa. Funeral mass is scheduled for 10am, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4th and Jay Street, Colusa. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1741 Wescott Road, Colusa.

I will always keep in my heart ❤ his good since of humor and how every single time that we went to visit him, he always made us feel very welcomed and showed his love. We will miss you "Benito" , as he was known in my family. Rest In Peace ......
