John Fargo Obituary

John Joseph Fargo Jr., 73, passed away after a difficult struggle with cancer on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Branson, MO. He was born on May 13, 1944, in Bell, CA, to John and Katherine Fargo.

John spent the majority of his childhood and adult life living in the Yuba-Sutter, CA, area, where he worked with his father in their family business of Young's Jewelers of Marysville, CA, and later of Yuba City, CA. John later moved to Branson, MO, in 2005, where he enjoyed working in the local community and serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of the Ozarks Catholic Church, Forsyth, MO.

John's great passion in his life was fishing. He rarely missed an opportunity to drop a line.

John will be well missed by his family and his many friends, including his second family at Branson Grand Village, Branson, MO.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother as well as his sister, Marilyn Stephenson and brother-in-law, Stanley Dunn.

John is survived by an extensive family, including his wife, Patricia Fargo of Branson, MO; his three children, Todd Walker of Napa, CA, Kimberly Levasseur of Sacramento, CA, and Matthew Fargo of Honolulu, HI; Patricia's two sons, Robert and Darrell Amos; and his four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Lauhban of Falmouth, MA.

Memorial Mass was held at 10:00 A.M Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Our Lady of the Ozarks Catholic Church in Forsyth, MO, Father David Hulshof officiating.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Dear Trish: I am so sad to hear of your loss. I cherish the good times we all had and have missed you two a great deal. I haven't had a good fried chicken dinner since you left Y.C. I lost all my email addresses when my computer crashed a few years back. Mine is [email protected]. I wish I were brave enough to do what you did, but I am still stuck here in Yuba Tuba.
Much love,
Lorraine
