Leroy (Lee) Bright Obituary

LeRoy (Lee) Monroe Bright, age 65, of Olivehurst passed away May 7, 2014 at his home. Lee was born June 19, 1948 in Yuba City, CA.

Lee was an Air Force Veteran of 12 years and a Civil Service worker at Beale Air Force Base. There, he was the Union Organizer President, Charter Member of the Gold Fields Coalition, GEO Society, HAS, AFGE, YDCC and also the Clampers ECV.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie, of 14 years and granddaughter's Jordan Bright and Bella Bright. He is also survived by his brothers: Charles, James, Les, Willie and sisters, Ailene Rhoads and Fanny Dhillon. His step daughter Camron Kelly, step son Ronnie Hampton, nephews: Aaron, Joe, Donnie, Larry, Steve, Kyle, Frank Roof and Sonya, of Marysville, nieces: Wendy, Debbie, Connie, Bonny, Linda, Doris, Shari, Terri, Traci Swain, and great niece, Kimberly and others.

Lee was preceded in death by his mother Lucille and his father Walter, a son, Ryan, a sister, Shirley and brothers: Carman, Raymond and Wallace.

This big guy had a big heart for helping others. He loved spending time up at the lake on his pontoon boat with his faithful dog, Buddy, as First Mate and his Second Mate, Willigan. He always surrounded himself with his family; friends and he also loved hunting, the campfire stories and nature itself. He always took the scenic route for driving so he could see the county.

There will be a Family Camp Out Memorial on May 17, 2014 at Stoney Gorge Reservoir.
