Wendy Walker Obituary
She was a graduate of Nelsonville-York High School and Tri-County JVS. She attended Athens Goodwill Activity and Training Center and Building Bridges Adult Center of Athens. Wendy enjoyed four wheeling, weekends with her sisters, and her many friends at DayHab. She loved animals, especially her Guinea Pigs Snuggles, Patches and Oreo, and her cat Princess.
Wendy is survived by her mother and step father, Kate and Doug Ford; four sisters, Amanda (Mike) Dowler of Albany, Kyndra (Bob) Crow of Galena, Jessica (Ryan) Adams of Canal Winchester and Lyndsie Walker of Columbus; two brothers, Ronald (Lindsay) Walker of Illinois and Randy (Amanda) Walker of Albany; her fiancé, Chelsea Clonch of Athens; her grandparents, Bud & Marilyn Ford of Sidney; several aunts and uncles; and many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rita & Don Zingre and Jack & Vada Kovaleski; and an aunt, Donna Walker. Family and Friends may call Tuesday 3-5 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, 24 Morris Ave., Athens, OH 45701. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Athens County Dog Shelter (www.fosdathens.com) where Wendy used to enjoy going to help walk the dogs. So sorry to hear about Wendy. Me and Mom had just seen her last Monday at holzer. She gave us a hug. So sorry she will be missed dearly. Praying for your whole family. We have no words for the loss we feel. We hope Wendy knew how much she is loved and how much she is missed. Her nephew will always be reminded as he grows up, how much his Aunt Wendy loves him.

She was my best friend and I hate that she died so young but I’ll never forget her the way she had that smile and that laugh I’ll never forget her laugh I miss you so much.
