Family-Placed Death Notice
Aaron Craig Collins, age 30, of Lilburn, GA, died November 17, 2006. A funeral will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. Aaron Collins loved music and played in a band called Discord. He considered music as his life and took great joy in creating and playing his own music. He is survived by his mother and father, Joyce and Art Collins of Lilburn, GA; brother, Adam Malone of Athens, GA; grandfather, George Howard Reeves; uncles, David Reeves and Walter Collins; aunts, Kay Dean Berry, Edwina Glover, Marilyn Balch, Nelda Yeomans and Ann Miles; step uncle, Steve Shannon; and stepaunt, Nicky Shannon; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Louise Shannon and Mary Collins; grandfather, Arthur Collins; and step grandfather, Mike Shannon. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 21, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.

Joyce & Art, I am so sorry for your loss. I was in the hospital having my first child when Ace passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. That invitation is ALWAYS open. You both were so sweet and generous to me. Ace was loved and will be remembered forever! I just spoke to him the week before and as usual he was his outgoing self. He worked with my dad and Ceradyne for a few years and all the guys at Ceradyne send their condolences. He will be missed tremendously. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

This is a former bandmate of Aaron's from his days with Discord. We recently became aware of Aaron's passing. There are no words that can adequately articulate the grief felt at such a loss, but we all offer our condolences. Aaron will be missed.

My name is Steven and I am Nick's brother, I was good friends with Ace in High School. Him & I have not spoken in a few years, I got married soon after High school and lost touch. I recently found out who was with Nick and it was a shock to me. I lost a brother and a good friend. I am truly sorry for your loss. Uncle Morris, Aunt Joyce and Adam,
I can not even begin to understand your pain, but know you all are in my prayers. The morning mother called to tell me I was so sadden. Aaron may be gone but memories are with us forever. Have two memories that keep popping up is when Aaron and I riding bikes down your street, we were children and a dog chasing us. Here I was the oldest suppose to be looking out for him but it was the other way around. Of course the lake and when lived in West Palm Beach, Florida. Never will they be erase from my memory. Love you all!

I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of Ace.He was good friend of mine for many a year and things will not be the same around the Mellow Mushroom anymore.He was always trying to cheer me up when i was down and no matter how bad things got he was always smiling.
