My thoughts and prayers go to my sister Nancy, Rosie, Aysha and Michael. May God surround you in his Love. I feel so blessed to have known Alan. I tell everyone he was the Mother Teresa of Atlanta for the poor and homeless. His legacy is found in the thousands of people whose lives were forever changed through his love!

Dear Nancy, Rose, Jameel, Aysha and Mike,
We know our brother-in -law, Alan to be a remarkably kind, patient and giving person who worked tirelessly for most of his adult life with the mentally ill, disabled and homeless.
We know how proud he was of his family and how very much he loved and treasured each and every one of you.
Alan's passing will leave a void in so many lives. Surely , his many selfless and caring acts have earned him a special place in heaven.
We hope the love of family and friends brings you some comfort during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy, prayers, love and hugs,
Fran and Bob Keegan

Because you lived, we are; because you gave, we lived; because you saw, we were visible; because you knew, we felt less vulnerable. Rest well my friend, rest well Alan, till we meet again.

Alan was a kind and caring person who thought of others before he thought of himself. His life was an example for all of us. Alan was a dear friend.
