Family-Placed Death Notice
JONES, Amy Amy Courtney Jones, 43, of Suwanee, passed away on April 16, 2013. Amy, born and raised in Atlanta, GA, graduated from the University of North Georgia. She is survived by her husband, Jeff, and her two children Andrew and Virginia. She is also survived by her parents, Nancy and Richard Courtney; in-laws June and Wayne Jones; sister Beth (Karen) Courtney-Long, sister-in-law Holly (Matt) James, and niece and nephews Katie James, Wyatt James and Fletcher Courtney-Long. Family and friends are invited to the funeral that will be held at the North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA on April 20th, 2013 at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Condolences can be left at http://www. mcdonaldandson.com. Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.mcdonaldandson.com.

Jeff and family,
Kelly and I just learned this news last night; our hearts are broken. Amy was a light in our lives. Her love, her laugh and inimitable joy touched each of us in a very special and sweet way. We know that her very brief time on this earth not only enriched our family, but all those with whom she came in contact. We are here to support you in any way, every way we can.

I wish I had known of this time of great loss and time of sorrow when it happened. I would liked to have been by your side to hold you up. You have been such good friends. Dear Mr and Mrs Courtney / Jeff
Peter, Stuart and I are devastated. She was our rock in times of our loss of Michael. She helped us in so many ways. I attribute Peter and Stuart's successes to Amy. She was so much more than their caregiver. I hope to share her memory with Virgina and Andrew, and let my beach home become their destination away from home. I can think of little else but how we all lost with her passing.

Mr and Mrs Courtney, Beth - I am so sorry... Amy and I met at school in fall of 1988 and we became fast friends. I'll never forget coming over to the house to watch Star Trek The Next Generation. She was a college friend of mine, and we lived in the same dorm/hallway. She was the highlight of our hall, full of smiles, jokes, laughter, and overall great friend. Amy touched so many lives in such a positive way. She was Room mom for Virginia and Anna's preschool
class. I will never forget the Christmas craft she made with the class. Then, she headed Fun with Faith. Next, she carpooled the girls to Kindergarten camp. Not to mention, she worked so hard as a co-troop leader for Girl Scouts. That was just the beginning of getting to know her. She was truly a blessing in everyone's life.
