1985 - 2015

HIGGINS, Jr., Jeffrey Jeffrey Dale Higgins, Jr. greeted his mother Mary Kathleen Higgins and father Jeff Higgins, Sr. on October 10th, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was their first child and grew up in the small town of McDonough, GA, later to be joined by younger sister Caitlin Hope Higgins. On the evening of Wednesday, December 2, 2015, Jeffrey "Bubba" Higgins received his wings and joined his Eternal Father. He was taken from this earth soon after his 30th birthday. Jeffrey was engaged to Cherie Milner, set to be married in June 2016. Growing up, Jeffrey was an active child. He played sports from a young age and loved to be outdoors. He played ball and later developed a love for extreme sports including dirt biking, skate boarding, and in-line skating. By practicing every day, he taught himself how to play the guitar well. To this day, every time he saw a guitar, he would pick it up and get excited. His love for music continued into his adulthood as he traveled the nation attending music festivals. After Jeffrey graduated from Union Grove High School in 2004, he studied Visual Communication at Westwood College of Technology and pursued his passion for art and music. He was incredibly creative and a gifted artist. From an early age, he loved to draw and paint. He had a keen eye for the arts, was a wonderful painter and a skilled photographer. Jeffrey accepted Jesus in his heart in June 2008. He strived to develop a better relationship with Christ. Through daily prayer, he focused on strengthening his bond with God. Jeffrey was a strong fighter, never giving up regardless of the many trials and tribulations that came his way. He held a better understanding of his faith that brought him and his family closer. He was a beloved son, brother, friend, fiancé, entrepreneur, and artist. Jeffrey loved his friends and family with his whole heart and was loved dearly by many. Jeffrey was kind and compassionate, a friend always willing to help. He filled the room with his warmth and contagious laughter and made everyone laugh because of his huge appetite; he had quite the sweet tooth. He wished to spend all his time outdoors with nature, often hiking and camping. Jeffrey maximized his short time on Earth to the fullest staying active, engaged, and loving life. Family will greet guests on Saturday, December 5 at 11:00, the memorial service will be starting at 12:00 in the main sanctuary at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in Stockbridge,GA.
