Survived by wife, Katherine Coleman, son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Teresa Coleman, Dawsonville; mother, Christine Coleman, Roswell; grandchildren, Shannon Coleman Brown, Gainesville; and Ryan Coleman of Dawsonville; great-granddaughter, Emily Brown, sisters-in-law, Jean Coleman Goss, Dawsonville; Grace Lord, Cumming; Betty Womack, Fort Lauderdale, FL; 1 niece, 2 nephews. Funeral Services Wednesday, September 20, 2006, 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Larry Eubanks, Rev. Allan Swafford, officiating. Interment, Plesant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday, 9 AM to 9 PM. Louie E. Jones Funeral Home, Alpharetta, 770-475-6554.

Uncle Lawrence was a great influence on my life. He taught me, of all things, how to fly fish, play the guitar, how to make homemade wine.... the list goes on.
I can just hear him playing "Wildwood Flower" on the harmonica at this moment.
I see him with brother Louis Coleman (playing spoons) and friend Wilburn Taylor on the fiddle having a great time in heaven.
I could write so much, and will later.
