Her spirit and enthusiastic enjoyment of life will remain with all who knew her. Maggie is survived by her Husband, Paul Baillie; Step-son Stuart; Step-daughters Leslie and Elizabeth, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; her Parents Margaret (Rita) and Ernest Menghini of Teignmouth, South Devon and Brother John Paul Menghini and Sister-in-Law Donna Ann Menghini of Poughkeepsie, NY. Maggie was a wonderful friend with a great generosity of spirit. I will miss her "popping over" on a Sunday afternoon for a cup of tea and a lively discussion. She had a great wit and a caring heart. I will think of her often.

Maggie you have inspired so many students worldwide to give of their very best. You loved the English language and that love was infectious. Your wonderful joy and terrific sense of humour coupled with your passion for people will be sorely missed. As a colleague, friend and teacher I salute you. Rest in peace after a job so well done. I am privileged to call you friend.

Maggie was blessed with the gift of wit and gab. I will miss her ability to connect with people and arrange get -togethers. She had the best taste in e-mail jokes- always objective and understanding. We will continue her legacy of connecting with people. A lover of life and people.
