SCHULTZ, Michael Joseph Michael Joseph Schultz, loving husband, dedicated son, devoted father, and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, November 26th in his home in Dunwoody, GA. Mike was born in St. Louis, MO on September 21, 1950 to Edward William Schultz and Beatrice T. Muehlenbeck. He attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He married the love of his life, Mary Pollak, on September 27, 1974, and from there went on to enjoy 43 wonderful years of life together. He spent most of his career in the paper industry (Georgia Pacific) where he brought his passion of distribution and logistical knowledge to his job and to all who worked along side him. Mike lived life to the fullest. He loved attending sporting events, vacationing with his wife, and became an avid eBay trader after retirement. He was a dedicated knight for over 30 years with the Knights of Columbus, a former Cubmaster with the Boy Scouts of America, and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. His vibrant character and smiling moustache will be missed by the countless lives he touched along the way. Mike, lovingly referred to as "Papa Schultz," is survived by his wife, Mary, his mother, Beatrice, his three children and seven grandchildren: Michael Joseph Schultz Jr. (Lisa), Oliver and Nicholas; Christopher John Schultz (Meagan), Owen, Ashlee, and Addison; Amy Elizabeth Flynn (Lane) Katie & Madeleine. His brother Edward William Schultz Jr. (Char); His two sister-in-laws Ann Pollak & Jayne Wilhelm (David) as well as his beloved nieces & nephews. A funeral Mass to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Friday, December 1st at 10:30am at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, Georgia with a reception to immediately follow.
