Richard was a classmate at Hoke Smith High School in Atlanta, Class of 1960. He was a good athlete and I got to know him in several classes we had together. During the last five years I got to know Richard better during the reunions we had for our class, especially the 50th reunion. Richard and I had a particular bond since our wives passed away at about the same time. We discussed this on several occasions and, hopefully, helped each other during those difficult days. Now, Richard is gone, but not forgotten by his many friends and classmates, as well as his family. I send my sincere condolences to the family and I will miss him. Edward Knight

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Comer lived 71 years and yet I am sure you feel that was not long enough. The bible says that god has put eternity into our hearts (Ecc 3:11) and that is why death can be a hard thing to accept. I hope you have peace and comfort in your time of need.

I am so sorry for your great loss. May the God who is 'binding up the brokenhearted and comforting those mourning' sustain you during this most difficult time. ( Isa. 61:1,2). Again, my deepest sympathies.
